Ram$ for Change - Team Leader Interest Form (2022 - 2023)

Ram$ for Change Overview

Ram$ for Change is a dynamic service-based program offering both volunteer and funding opportunities, depending on the type of participation.  This community engagement program aims to meet immediate community need and generate mutual understanding and support between Community Agencies (non-profits, government-based organizations, and CSU departments) and current CSU Rams.  Overall, Ram$ for Change offers pre-planned service experiences for those seeking to create connections and make a quick and direct impact in the community.

Individual Volunteers and Volunteer Teams can both participate in Ram$ for Change.  Individual Volunteers are not participating in a Team of 5 or more CSU Rams, and instead are operating solo.  Volunteer Teams comprise 5 or more CSU Rams and require a Team Leader who also volunteers and is counted in the minimum of 5 volunteers.  All Primary Team Leaders are required to complete Team Leader Training, and in general, they have more responsibilities when participating in Ram$ for Change.

To join our Team Leader Contact List and be among the first to learn of an upcoming Ram$ for Change service day and receive its associated Commitment Form (to secure your Volunteer Team's chance to participate), please fill out the contact information below.

Solo Volunteers: Not part of a Volunteer Team of 5 or more CSU Rams, but do you still want to participate in Ram$ for Change?  Great! SLiCE is happy to have you join.  Please complete the Ram$ for Change - Individual Volunteer Interest Form instead, and close this form down.

Generally speaking, what do you anticipate is your level of volunteer engagement in a Ram$ for Change service day for your Volunteer Team?  Please take your best guess that represents your Volunteer Team's typical level of volunteer engagement.  This does not lock in your numbers, only helps us estimate volunteer availability.  The Volunteer Team Leader is counted within the volunteer numbers, so 1 Volunteer Team Leader and 4 volunteers equals the minimum to participate.
Get a headstart and tackle the Online Team Leader Training next!

This Online Team Leader Training takes
about an hour to complete.  During this training, Team Leaders learn more about the following information and are quizzed on knowing this information accurately.  Primary Team Leaders only need to complete Team Leader Training once and pass the associated quiz.  Team Leader Training must be completed before submitting a Service Day Commitment Form.  They can be submitted on the same day, and any questions you miss on the training quiz will be further clarified at your Commitment Chat afterward.

  1. Overview of Ram$ for Change & SLiCE Support
  2. Team Leader Responsibilities & Volunteer Coordination Best Practices
  3. Volunteer Waiver Submission & Tracking
  4. Emergency & Liability Overview
  5. Clarity of the Cancellation Policy
  6. Overview of SOFAs, RSO Funds, & Service Agreement
Best to tackle Team Leader Training soon, as it more thoroughly explains everything in this Ram$ for Change, and needs to be handled before a Service Day Commitment Form is submitted (which likely is coming soon!)
